Gifts, Getaways, Staycations, and New-year Resolutions

The opportunity to have fun, meet people who share similar interests, and be inspired to improve skills is priceless and could make for a thoughtful and unusual Christmas gift or way to meet your new years resolutions.  Halsway Manor has a lot to offer people who are interested in music, dance, singing, crafting, and nature. It is a truely magical and inspirational place and there are different ways to participate.

Concert ticket, a music lesson or lessons, a longer weekend or a mid-week workshop might make for a lovely gift for anyone interested in music, dance, crafts, or nature on a folk arts theme.

You can book concert tickets and music lessons directly online.

The courses we offer are participative and sometimes intensive, some require a high degree of dedication and existing skills. Others simply require a curiosity and interest to try something new or have a go. So if you are considering booking a course, look at the skill level required under the ‘who is it for’ section in the course description. When you book you’ll complete an booking enquiry and in the new year we will contact you, or the person you are booking it for, to discuss and firm up the booking and accommodation details.

If the course is for you all the better, treat yourself, its a lovely way to spend your time and reignite your passions be they for music, dance, crafts, nature, to meet new like-minded people, or simply to enjoy a little time to yourself to relax and enjoy the surrounding Quantock Hills.

Lots of folk commit to learn an instrument or to spend more time with an instrument they play as a new years resolution – Halsway Manor, National Centre for Folk Arts is a supportive and dedicated environment in which to make that happen in a most enjoyable way.
