In their recent COVID-19 response, the UK Government have suggested that organisations like ours will be able to open when we reach Step 3 of the roadmap out of lockdown. This will be no sooner that 17 May, and will be dependent upon favourable data regarding infection and transmission rates for the virus.
With this in mind, we are planning to re-open to guests on Mon 17 May. Covid-secure guidance will remain in place and we expect to operating at reduced capacity. We will be reviewing this in the coming weeks and months, and we’ll continue to make further information available to you.
At present the Manor is still closed, with the office open for Booking Enquiries on Mondays only, 10am-4pm. In the month prior to opening staff will be returning to work and our office hours will return to normal.

What About My Booking?
If you were booked onto a course which has been cancelled due to coronavirus, we will provisionally transfer your booking to the next corresponding event. In most cases this will be in the following year, though some exceptions apply. See ‘What’s On’ pages for details. Affected patrons are entitled to a full refund, or to transfer their fees to another course, please contact us if you would like to do this. Please email Viv – [email protected] to transfer your booking to an alternative event, or email James – [email protected] if you require an urgent refund. During our closure period, the office will be manned on Mondays from 10am to 4pm so we thank you for your patience.
Halsway has lost over £700,000 since March 2020 and, even with government support, this is proving an extremely challenging time for the charity. If you are in a position to make a donation, large or small, it would be very much appreciated. With your help we can make sure this wonderful place is still here for people to enjoy – when it’s finally safe to do so!
