We have now completed the extensive restoration of the buildings and grounds after receiving a grant of £387,500 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), £57,600 from the Country Houses Foundation and £100,000 from supporter donations. This allowed the charity to restore the Manor and library collection, and to deliver a creative learning programme in local schools and communities across West Somerset.
The project was a great success and the following comment is from the HLF grants officer who supervised the project:
“When HLF looks for transformational projects that take organisations forward yours will always be at the front on my mind.”
