Banding Together summer weekends provide advanced and fluent English system concertina players with the opportunity to join with others of similar proficiency to play as a big concertina band. The music is varied and challenging but help with preparation is provided. The result is an electrifying big band sound!
Banding Together is very excited to announce that its 2024 weekend will be led by guest conductor Lieutenant Colonel Craig Hallatt, principal director of music for the Army. Craig says, “you have a wonderfully enthusiastic group and I am delighted to be working with you”.
The option to extend your stay with a B&B booking on Sunday evening will be available for this event.

Banding Together weekends are organised by Junction 25 Concertina Band. Music for Banding Together is sourced and arranged by J25 director Claire Wren. Banding Together is committed to having a new professional guest conductor each year. These musicians bring unique expertise to the concertina band world, constantly raising standards of musicianship which keeps all weekends fresh and exciting.
