Join creative coach and yoga teacher Tracey Roberts for a replenishing retreat, with seasonal yoga practices, relaxation and meditation, walking on the hills and some creative fun. All designed to inspire your imagination and increase your sense of wellbeing by following the flow of the seasons.
Have fun while you learn and take time out for yourself in the wonderful setting of Halsway Manor and the Quantock Hills. There will be plenty of opportunity to share with others and to reconnect with your own sense of self-care. All the sessions are optional, so you can do as much or as little as you want. Beginners to yoga are very welcome.
Bring along your yoga mat (if you have one) and comfortable yoga clothes and your walking boots, and be prepared to leave feeling calm, refreshed and ready to face the world again.
Places are limited.
Who is it for?
The yoga practices will be exploratory, mindful, nurturing and fun. We’ll explore yoga movement, breathing practices, relaxation and meditation. Everyone works at their own pace, so sessions are appropriate for beginners as well as those with an established practice. If you have any movement restriction or physical limitation please let us know before you book! We will need to advise if the course is suitable for you.
The guided walks will be varied in length and intensity. A reasonable fitness level is required as even short walks may include steep climbs. Car sharing may be necessary for some of the walks.
The Team
Tracey Roberts is British Wheel of Yoga qualified and has been teaching since 2008. Her teaching focuses on self-inquiry – exploring creative, intuitive, natural movement, alongside breath-awareness, meditation and embodiment practices. She is interested in how a yoga practice that improves the natural functioning of the body and observational capacity of the mind can help us live more comfortably and confidently in the world. She encourages exploration and an individualised approach which is both playful and confidence-building.
Tracey is also an enthusiastic walker and sketcher of the great outdoors. Originally trained in the visual arts, she spent many years working in the arts as a practitioner, trainer and mentor, nurturing people’s creativity. www.traceyroberts.yoga
