Andrea Oke combines traditional craft with modern technology to reimagine social history and create new dialogues. During her Shadowland project she has discovered all kinds of fascinating, long-forgotten stories from within Halsway’s library and Somerset’s archives, to uncover a rich history of local folklore to inspire a four day exhibition.
On Sunday 30 September the studio opening (11am-5pm) will be specially tailored to be Family Friendly, all ages welcome, and Andrea will be hosting families during two family friendly workshops (11am-1pm, 2-4pm). Places are limited and children must be accompanied by an adult. Book in advance!
Members of the public will still be able to access the art installation during the workshops.
