This is a rare opportunity to make your own staycation holiday in the medieval Manor House. For outdoor-types, Halsway is the perfect base from which to explore the Quantock Hills, Exmoor and the Somerset Coast. For art lovers, the weekend coincides with Somerset Open Studios; over 200 studios will be open to visitors across Somerset, including many in our local area, click here for details.
The stay includes half board, with breakfast and evening dinners served in dining room. Arrival is from 4pm Friday with dinner served at 6.30pm, depart after breakfast on Sunday. The Bar will be open in the evenings.
You’ll be staying alongside residents on a Music Composition workshop who will have priority use over the Manor House spaces during the day. However, we’ll make our Mews workshop room (the Brendon Room) available for Staycations guests during the day, so if you want to bring paints and craft materials please do. There will likely be informal music sessions in the bar in the evenings, so feel free to bring instruments if you play – or just come and listen!
Ensuite and non-ensuite rooms are available. Each room has tea and coffee. Single, Double and Dorm rooms are available in the Manor House and adjoining Mews.
We are pleased to have acquired Visit England’s “We’re Good To Go” Industry Standard mark which means that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
