Jan will be running workshop at other venues – check her website Blue Shed Flowers for details.

Join Jan Boddington (Blue Shed Flowers) for a morning workshop to make a beautiful and individual Christmas wreath for your door or as a special gift this Christmas. Jan will provide an abundance of moss and seasonal foliage foraged from her 3-acre Somerset flowerfield, plus inspiration and ‘extras’ to decorate your wreath!

We’ll be running as a group of 8 to help with physical distancing. Each person will have their own work bench ready with materials and secateurs, within the well-ventilated workshop – unless you are coming with someone you live with / are in a bubble with in which case you are welcome to share a work station. We ask that all participants wear a mask, and do not move about the workshop more than necessary.

If there’s the demand, we will run an afternoon workshop too.

Who’s it For?

No experience necessary. Suitable for all levels – beginners and those with some experience. Participants may wish to bring a pair of gardening gloves and some seceteurs if you prefer to use your own.

The Tutor

Jane Boddington is an artisan flower grower and artist. Her passion for florestry grew from growing flowers first in a small plot, now extended to three acres of sustainably grown flower fields in Somerset. She designs flower arrangements for celebrations of all kinds and takes the wilds of the Somerset landscape as her inspiration.
