Join Jan Boddington (Blue Shed Flowers) for an afternoon workshop to make a beautiful and individual centrepiece to adorn your table – or as a special gift this Christmas.
With an emphasis on sustainability and natural materials, Jan will show you how to make a foam-free piece using fresh flowers, garden and hedgerow foliage, moss and other natural materials. All materials are provided, from Jan’s own flower fields or foraged nearby. Jan will also provide you with a vessel in which to create – and take home – your arrangement.
Arrive for lunch if you wish (1pm) – and why not make a day of it*, and join Jan in the morning to make a stunning wreath for your door?!
*If booking online, you’ll have the option of adding the second workshop at checkout; choose the special ‘day rate’ for both to get your discount!
Who’s it For?
No experience necessary. Suitable for all levels – beginners and those with some experience. Participants may wish to bring a pair of gardening gloves and some secateurs if you prefer to use your own.
Jane Boddington is an artisan flower grower and florist, delighting in producing seasonal flowers – with an edge. Her passion for floristry grew from growing flowers first in a small plot, now extended to three acres of sustainably grown flower fields in Somerset. She designs flower arrangements for celebrations of all kinds and takes the wilds of the Somerset landscape as her inspiration.
