Come and enjoy a half-board break at Halsway Manor.  A rare opportunity to create your own weekend staycation holiday in the medieval Manor House, and enjoy its beautiful gardens and Quantock Hills setting.

We are running courses with smaller numbers so have a few rooms available for your own freestyle stay. You’ll be sharing the manor with course participants on two courses – musicians on the Melodeon Building course and participants on a Willow Weaving Garden Beasts course.

Halsway Manor is a perfect base from which to explore the Quantock Hills, Exmoor and West Somerset Coast. Bring your walking boots to explore the beautiful and rugged landscapes, peppered with picturesque villages and places of interest. The area is also a delight for nature lovers with rich and varied habitats supporting a plethora of flora and fauna. Or maybe bring your paints, craft materials, or instruments, for a relaxing and creative stay. Our folk library will be open – a perfect opportunity to research some folk tunes or local folklore.

The stay includes half board, with breakfast and evening dinners served in the dining room. You’ll need to make your own arrangements for lunch. The bar will open in the evenings. Arrive from 4pm Friday with dinner served at 6.30pm. Breakfast is served at 8.30am; you’ll need to check out of your room by 4pm on Sunday.

Single, Double and Family rooms are available in the Manor House and adjacent Mews, with tea and coffee making facilities in each room.

We are pleased to have acquired Visit England’s “We’re Good To Go” Industry Standard mark which means that we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, have a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
